functions: protect body, regulate body temperature, eliminate some wastes, help make vitamin D, the tech sensations such as touch, pain, warm and cold

skeletal system

components: bones and joints of the body and their associated cartilages
functions: support and protect body, surface area for muscle attachments, aid in body movement, stores minerals and lipids.

muscular system

components: skeletal muscle tissue functions: body movement, maintain posture, and produce heat

cardiovascular system

components: blood, heart, and blood vessels.
Functions: heart pumps blood to blood vessels; etc.

Lymphatic system and immunity

components: lymphatic fluid, lymphatic vessels, spleen, thymus, lympth nodes, and tonsils
functions: return proteins and fluid to blood

nervous system

components: brain, spinal cord, nerves, and special sense organs, such as the eyes and ears. 
function: generate nerve impulses to regulate body activities.

endocrine system

components: hormone producing glands
functions: regulates body activities by releasing hormones.

respiratory system

components: lungs and air passageways such as pharynx, larynx, trachea, and bronchial tubes.
functions: transfer oxygen from inhaled air to blood and carbon dioxide from blood to the exhaled air

digestive system

components: space organs of gastrointestinal tract including mouth, pharynx, esophagus, stomach, small and large intestines, and anus.
functions: achieves physical and chemical breakdown of food.

urinary system

components: kidneys, ureters, urinary bladder, and urethra.
Functions: produces, stores and eliminate urine

reproductive systems

components: gonads, uterine tubes, uterus,vagina in females and prostate in penis in males.
Functions: reproduction and other body processes associated. In females to produce milk also.
