slope= Rise/run=change in y/change in x
example: slope of (1,2) and (4,-5)
slope= (-5-2)/(4-1)=-7/3
To determine a slope of a line
put in y=mx+b where m is the slope.
example= what's the slope
3x+2y=4
2y=-3x+4
y=(-3/2(x)) +2, so m is (-3/2)
Area of a Triangle
=(1/2)base X height
isosceles triangle
equilateral triangle
right triangle
isoscles= two sides are equal length
equilateral= all three sides are equal
right triangle=one interior angle of 90 degrees.  Longest side (opposite side of the right angle and largest is aka hypotenuse.  The other two legs are equal.
((leg1)^2)+((leg2)^2)=(hypotenuse)^2
