Instructors in the nursing program that I'm going through post study guides online for us to study before every exam. I was able to download these, cut and paste, and make my own study cards without typing one single word.....awesome!

I am very excited to see new technology for my kids to do their studying. This will take the boredom out of handwritten notes and lost paperwork. The schools have "School-loop" communications with parents and I could see Studydriod playing a roll in teacher/student comms and notes. My kids are looking forward to having an edge with their work.
Thanks Studydroid.

Hi Dan,

thanks for this article. I'm currently facing the same problem. My apps have been prepared for translation just from the beginning, I'm doing the source strings in English and do the German translation by myself.

I today received an mail from hiapk.com about their offer of translating apps to CHT/CHS. By googling a bit I found this blog post and wanted to ask you about your experience with hiapk?

Any feedback would be great! Thanks in advance :)

Best regards,
Sebastian

You won't get a FC if a language-specific XML file doesn't contain a string, as long as the string exists in the language-neutral values/ directory.

That said, I agree that updates are problematic. I've written a tool to convert between Android's XML files and gettext: http://github.com/miracle2k/android2po

Maybe you'll find it useful.

Sir,
On my desktop I enter my Username and password. It tells me that I am logged in. I then can use my packs and have to option to log out.
On my Motorala Droid, I enter my Username and password. It tells me that I am logged in. When I click "my packs" it tells me that I need to be logged in to access the packs (??). It does NOT give me the option to log out.
Can you help me to access my packs on my Droid?
Thank you.

I was trying to register to the video tutorial page, and when I clicked on register, the whole page was code. Did I do something wrong or set something wrong?

Hey Varoybal,
I want to support as many firmware versions as I can, but unfortunately all I have is my old G1 (and I haven't had the best of luck with rooting things. I have many shiny paperweights to show for that) so all I can really test on is my G1. If you have any error report or tips that could help StudyDroid be more cross-platform friendly just e-mail them to me. It'd be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

I was wondering if you support rooted software versions for my mytouch phone? I have tried JacXrom 1.4r3/1.5r3
The Official Tmo - 1.7.1, and Cyanogen 4.1.6 the only one that would not give me the force close error was the official TMO 1.7.1 version. Any ideas?

Thanks!
